CANNABIS PRISONERS POSTER

Marijuana is quickly being decriminalized in states across the United States, but tens of thousands of people remain imprisoned for nonviolent cannabis-related charges. The Cannabis Prisoners Project seeks to educate on the issue and encourages citizens to take action in their communities in order to help free these unethically incarcerated prisoners. This poster serves to illustrate the subject via the appropriation of an old Nixon/Vietnam War poster, a fitting homage to the man who also started the War On Drugs.
