AUTOBIOGRAPHY / 2021

Tasked with creating an autobiography displayed not only through words, but through the chosen typography itself, I endeavored to express my life through clothing. I had never embroidered before but chose to use this medium because I felt that the process of learning while doing was representative of life itself. The pieces are intimate yet bold, and the finished products belie the many struggles and failed attempts I experienced before achieving something I was satisfied with.
